As part of my internship, I wrote retention newsletters for students who were struggling academically. These newsletters were sent out via UASuccess to students at the beginning of the semester, during midterms, and the end of the semester. These newsletters provided resources for these students to succeed on their assignments and exams. In addition, we provided one-on-one support to the students by meeting with them, talking through their semester, and providing tips to succeed.
