Business Living Learning Community
Throughout the 2020-2021 academic year, I had the opportunity to work with the Business Living Learning Community (BLLC). My supervisor is the coordinator of the BLLC, so I was able to work with the freshmen students on a weekly basis. I learned a lot about the BLLC and how important of a role it plays on freshmen students during their first year of college. We made sure to plan meaningful events that the students would be able to use to be a success Walton College of Business student. We also created an environment where students would be able to make connections with each other. We host a wide variety of events ranging from community service, events with Walton Career Services, programs with Walton alumnus in the professional field, and academic study sessions.
